I am a beginner, how do I start?

Begin by scheduling an introductory private lesson with one of our experienced instructors. We'll guide you through the basics and help you build a strong foundation in dance.


I am an advanced dancer, how do I get started?

Getting started is easy! Simply contact us to schedule your introductory lesson. We'll help you find the perfect starting point based on your interests and skill level.

Do I need to bring a partner?

No partner is required! Many of our students come solo, your instructor will be your partner, when you will become a member and if you will attend our group classes and parties - we rotate partners during group classes or parties to ensure everyone has a chance to dance and learn with different partners.


What should I wear for my first lesson?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement, and shoes with smooth soles that won't grip the floor. Avoid heavy or restrictive clothing.

Where is your studio?

Our studio is located at 328 Moore Road in Ocoee. Visit us to experience the joy of dance in person!


What hours are you open?

Monday through Friday 1pm - 9pm. Saturday and Sunday mornings, depending on teachers availability. We do have most weekends reserved for dance competitions and showcases.

How much do lessons cost?

Our lesson prices vary depending on the type of lesson and package you choose. Contact us for detailed pricing information and current specials.

Am I too old or too young to learn to dance?

You're never too old or too young to learn to dance! We welcome students of all ages and skill levels, from children to seniors. Our instructors tailor lessons to accommodate each student's needs and abilities.

What should I expect during my first lesson?

During your first lesson, you'll receive a warm welcome from our instructors and a brief orientation to our studio. We'll assess your goals and skill level, and then introduce you to basic dance steps and techniques. We will recommend the dance program, that will fit your goals and skill level.

Who are the teachers?

Do I need special shoes?

While special dance shoes are not required for beginners, they can enhance your dancing experience. We can recommend suitable shoes based on your dance style and level. We can discuss the best footwear options with you in the studio.

Do you have lessons for children?

Yes, we offer dance lessons for children of all ages. Our instructors are skilled at working with young dancers and creating a fun and engaging learning environment.

How many weeks will I need to learn a wedding dance?

The number of weeks needed varies depending on factors such as dance complexity and individual learning pace. We'll work with you to create a customized plan that fits your timeline and goals.

What should I wear for my wedding dance lesson?

Wear attire similar to what you'll be wearing on your wedding day to ensure comfort and familiarity with your dance moves. Consider bringing your wedding shoes for practice.

How often should I take lessons?

The frequency of lessons depends on your goals, availability, and learning pace. We recommend starting with 2 weekly lessons to build consistency and progress steadily.

How many dances will I learn at a time?

The number of dances you learn at a time depends on your learning pace and goals. We'll work with you to create a customized lesson plan that fits your needs and preferences.

What types of dance do you teach?

We teach a wide variety of dance styles, including Ballroom, Latin, swing, salsa, tango, and more. Whether you're interested in social dancing or competitive styles, we have something for everyone.

What is the difference between American and International style?

American and International styles refer to different approaches to ballroom dancing, each with its own technique, syllabus, and aesthetic. Our instructors are proficient in both styles and can teach according to your preference.

What is a group class like?

Group classes are fun and interactive sessions where students learn dance steps and techniques in a group setting. Our experienced instructors guide you through each lesson, ensuring a positive and rewarding learning experience. Our group classes are available only for E&A Dance members.

What if I don’t want to rotate partners during class?

That's perfectly fine! While we encourage partner rotation for the best learning experience, you're welcome to opt out and dance exclusively with your partner if you prefer.

What is a party?

Our dance parties are social events where students can practice their dance skills, meet new people, and enjoy an evening of music and dancing in a relaxed atmosphere. Dance parties are available only for E&A Dance members. 

Do you offer virtual lessons?

Yes, we offer virtual lessons for those who prefer to learn from the comfort of their own home. Contact us to schedule a virtual lesson and experience the magic of dance online.

What if I want to compete but don’t have a partner?
